Pastor Jack Cain, Pastor Steve Sienkiewicz, Associate Pastor J Johnston, and Debbie Carey joined the Elders to pray for the needs of the church.
Debbie Carey provided the administrator’s report:
> Offering was $28,243
> Attendance was 786 in the main service
> Calvary’s Planned Development ordinance is expected to be approved by the City of Orlando this week. Upon approval, we will begin implementing the new signage plan for the church campus.
> Debbie shared the details of a possible event which would require an investment of finances and full staff participation. The elders will discuss this further.
> There was a proposal presented for a half day Health Event to be held at Calvary in February.
Debbie exited the meeting at 5:10PM.
Two ladies joined the meeting to request the use of Calvary’s facilities on Sunday evenings for services in the Russian language. The women shared their testimony and their desire to share the gospel with the Russian speaking community in Orlando. The Elders prayed over the ladies and over the vision that God has put in their hearts.
The request was discussed and a determination made that some research needs to be done.
Frank St. John made a motion to approve the minutes for 19 December, 2012 which was seconded by Wray Petry and passed unanimously by the remainder of the elders.
With no further items, the meeting was adjourned at 7:15PM.
