Elder Minutes For 17 June 2013

PRESENT: Doug Joseph, Jim Norman, Eddie Haralson, Dave Tinker, Frank St. John, George Joseph, Wray Petry,

Dr. Rhoden shared from his heart concerning Ecclesiastes 10:10.

The Elders, Pastors J Johnston and Jonathan Cashman, as well as Kari Van Cleave prayed for the needs of the church.

The pastors and Kari exited at 4:45PM.

Frank St. John made a motion to accept the 3 June 2013 meeting which was seconded by Jim Norman and passed unanimously.

There was a discussion concerning Calvary’s Articles of Incorporation.

The General Council of the Assemblies of God will be meeting from August 5^th to 9^th at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. Calvary can send a delegate to represent the church.

Jim Norman shared concerning Reinhard Bonnke’s upcoming crusade in Orlando (September 28^th and 29^th). They would like to use Calvary’s facilities for evangelistic training and for a prayer meeting on September 21^st and 22^nd.

The Elders and Finance Council will have a joint meeting at 5:30 p.m. on July 24^th concerning the new sound system.

The Elders will not meet on July 1^st and 15^th.  

The meeting was closed in prayer and adjourned at 6:50PM.
