the needs of the church.
Pastors Update:
J Johnston – The young adults will be having a
quarterly leadership meeting. We are working on adding new Discipleship classes.
S.
Sienkiewicz – A donation of a commercial
freezer and refrigerator has been received and will be a tremendous blessing to Transitions Ministries.
J.
Cashman – A Life Group relaunch is
being planned for May.
J.
Krall – 150 young people
are expected at the annual 20/20 retreat.
K. Van
Cleave - A new series (Family Mechanics)
has been introduced in Children’s Ministries.
Administrator’s
Report:
> The weekly tithes and offerings
were $33,200.
> Attendance was 556 in the main service
and 653 in total.
> The south entrance looks great
thanks to the efforts of all who have volunteered for the recent Men’s Saturday
Work Days.
> There is a meeting with El Calvario
this evening concerning the joint Easter service.
> The painting of the Worship Center
has begun.
Jim Norman
made a motion to accept the minutes of the February 25, 2013 meeting which was
seconded by Wray Petry and passed unanimously.
The agenda
for the upcoming Annual Business Meeting was discussed.
With no
further discussion, the meeting ended at 6:50 PM.
